<p>This invention relates to the provision of itemised call lists and summaries produced by telecommunications Service Providers (usually the network operator) for telecommunications users or other parties. For the purposes of this invention the telecommunications device should have a means of inputting and storing names and associated numbers within a User Directory (from whence particular numbers may be retrieved and used to dial a call). The User Directory (input 1 in Figure 1) is also commonly known as an address book or phone book. This invention allows users (or other parties) to receive or generate itemised call lists and summaries, identifying the called party by name (or other identifier by which they are best known to the user, such as 'office', 'bank', 'home', 'mother' etc.).</p> |
