PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opto-electric circuit whose manufacturing process can be simplified. SOLUTION: The circuit has in the information transmission line thereof either of a means for conversion from an electric signal to an optical signal and a means for conversion from an optical signal to an electric signal is provided. In this circuit 1, the transmission line is formed of a material which has transmissivity of the optical signal and conductivity (e.g. ITO, ZnO, In<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, SnO<SB>2</SB>, ITO, AZO, ATO, FZO, FIO, or FTO) and the optical signal and electric power or the optical signal and electric signal are transmitted through the transmission line at the same time. Thus, the optical signal and electric power or the electric signal can be transmitted through the transmission line at the same time, and consequently the need to form a wire for electric power supply is eliminated to simplify the manufacturing process.
