<p>An object (10) is shown as being obscurred by snow (12) in a snow bank (14) that is on a railway surface (16) . The imaging system (18) has a narrow-beam high frequency RF energy source (20). A beam of RF energy is scanned over the area of interest under the control of a computer (22). RF waves that have been reflected by the target are received at the array of detector elements (24,26) and processed at the signal processing circuirtry (28). Processed signal results are displayed on the annunciator(32).</p> |
