PURPOSE:To record an image on an accurate position of recording paper even when the number of revolutions of a motor is fluctuated by transferring data of a line memory to a head drive means and recording the data synchronously with a trigger pulse of a trigger means. CONSTITUTION:A sampling circuit fetches an image signal by one line from an image signal GS sequentially. A multiplexer 1 writes the signal in line memories 1, 2 alternately synchronously with a trigger pulse Tg. A multiplexer 2 reads data from a line memory not subjected to write by the multiplexer 1 at the same time synchronously with the pulse Tg and transfers a one-line recording signal HS to a head drive circuit. Thus, a thermal head is driven and the data by one line is recorded on thermosensitive paper. Thus, the thermosensitive paper is carried sequentially by a recording paper drive roller and the image is recorded sequentially synchronously with a 1-line carrier detection signal of the rotary encoder connected to the said roller completely. Thus, one line is recorded accurately synchronously with the movement of one line of the thermosensitive paper.
