PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device capable of easily maintaining an opened state of a sliding door by a simple structure in regard to a sliding door device effectively maintaining opening operation and an opened attitude of the sliding door. SOLUTION: In the self-closing sliding door device, a full open stopper part maintaining a full open position of the sliding door, a braking part with a predetermined length positioned in parallel with a sliding door rail in a rear door end side of the full open stopper part, and a stopper receiver having a guide part provided continuous with a rear door end side end part of the braking part are provided in a front door end side of the sliding door so as to move along with the sliding door. An elastic stopper elastically abutting on the braking part by strength stronger than self-closing force in midway of opening the sliding door to at least a passing width or more of a wheelchair, abutting on the full open stopper part, and maintaining the full open position of the sliding door is provided in a fixed side.
