PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find data corruption in a storage area intended for temporary use in an early stage for quickly correcting a defect. SOLUTION: The storage area intended for temporary use is supplied to a function constituting software and another function unit of the software, and a special data storage area for writing predetermined special data is allocated in the vicinity of the storage area. When the predetermined data are written in the special data storage area and predetermined processing is carried out periodically or carried out by the software, the contents of the special data storage area are read and it is determined whether the contents of the special data storage area are rewritten or not.
