<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a benzimidazolone compound easy to synthesize, accomplishing the stable and good dispersion and flow of a pigment without agglomerating it and thus suitable as a pigment dispersant free of deterioration with time, and to provide the pigment dispersant, a pigment dispersed composition and a colored photosensitive composition each containing the above compound. <P>SOLUTION: The benzimidazolone compound is shown by general formula (1) [wherein, X is a single bond, N(R'), N(R')CO, O, OCO, CONH, COO, CO, SO<SB>2</SB>NH, SO<SB>3</SB>or SO<SB>2</SB>; A is an alkylene, arylene or aralkylene group; R is SO<SB>3</SB>H or COOH; R' is H, an alkyl or aryl; and n is an integer of 1-3]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
