PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshold installing device for an elevator hole capable of installing a threshold certainly with the operation from the hall side, holding approximately the whole surface of the threshold by a horizontal surface, and precluding rattling irrespective of eventual molding error, etc. SOLUTION: The base of a mounting metal fitting 58 is secured to a building body 55 through an anchor bolt 59 whose axis extends in the vertical direction, and the threshold 57 is fixed to the mounting metal fitting 58 through a fixing bolt 60 in such a condition that the whole area of the mounting surface is tightly attached to the upper surface 63c as a horizontal plane at the forefront of the mounting metal piece 58.
