PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment machine capable of certainly controlling the temperature of a heater for a deodorizing device with respect to the amount of a mixed gas of a malodor, steam and air generated from garbage and capable of sufficiently obtaining the deodorizing capacity of the deodorizing device. SOLUTION: Since an amount of steam in a treatment container 2 is correlated with the steam pressure in the treatment container 2, the generation amount of steam can be estimated on a detection value of pressure in the treatment container 2 due to a pressure sensor 17. Then, in consideration of the generation of steam, the relation between the steam pressure and the set temperature of the heater of the deodorizing device is predetermined, and a control part B15 controls the temperature of the heater 11 of the deodorizing device on the basis of the pressure detection value of the pressure sensor 17.
