PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of catching coarse dust in air without depending on a filter without noise like a cyclone device. SOLUTION: Behind the front panel 11 of the air cleaner 1, guide paths 40 are formed on both left and right sides. A space between the front panel 11 and a filter unit 20 is divided into a front panel back space 45 and a filter unit front surface space 46 by a partition plate 44. A part of an air flow which enters the guide path 40 from a suction port 42 enters the filter unit front surface space 46 and the rest enters the front panel back space 45. The air flow which enters the front panel back space 45 is rapidly turned in a rapid turning part 43. Thus, the coarse dust P is separated from the air flow and the separated coarse dust P falls to be received in a dust box 49. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
