PURPOSE: A plug for converter tapping hole sleeve is provided to effectively prevent initial slag from mixing with ladle during converter tapping by inserting plug into the inner side of sleeve installed in tapping hole of converter, thereby elastically fixing the plug into the sleeve. CONSTITUTION: In a plug(1) for converter tapping hole sleeve for suppressing outflow of slag floated on molten steel during initial converter tapping in a converter that is the steelmaking process for refining hot metal into molten steel, the plug(1) for converter tapping hole sleeve comprises a body(30) an inner part of which is hollow; a cap member(40) covered to the front side of the body(30) in such a way that the cap member(40) corresponds to inner diameter of the sleeve; an elastic supporting body(50) connected to the body(30) to prevent the plug from being squeezed from the inner side of the sleeve to the exit side of the sleeve; and a cover member(60) inserted into and fixed to the rear side of the body(30) to seal the body(30) so that mixing of slag with ladle during converter tapping is effectively blocked.
