PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-way switch valve suppressing heat loss in the inside. SOLUTION: A body 2 of a three-way switch valve switching a port B to communicate to a port A into which high temperature/high pressure coolant is led or a port D from which low temperature/low pressure coolant is led, and a body 1 of a tree-way switch valve switching a port C to communicate to the port A or the port D, are separated from each other. The common ports A, D are connected by pipes 17, 18, and passages into which the coolant flow of the bodies 1, 2 are surrounded by thermal insulating sleeves 8, 15 and thermal insulating plugs 9, 16. Plugs 3, 10 structuring valve bodies are made by material having low thermal conductivity. Therefore, thermal loss in the inside of the four-way switch valve caused by heat transfer from the coolant passages to the bodies 1, 2, heat transfer between the bodies 1, 2, and heat transfer through the plugs 3, 10 is drastically suppressed, so that lowering in freezing performance when applied to an automotive heating and cooling system of heat pump type.
