<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a cooling system for inexpensively, surely, and efficiently cooling exhaust gas and high temperature gas. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas and the high temperature gas are cooled by spraying hot water not less than an ordinary temperature, and less than a boiling point of water in atmospheric pressure.
