<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the identification of output data from a medical image- processing apparatus, to facilitate an image processing and a change processing for the content of the image processing, and at the same time, to prevent an extreme determination or a wrong diagnosis at the time of diagnosing from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: In a medical image data-outputting process, the control unit 11 of a controller 1 generates output data by applying the image processing to medical image data. At the same time, the control unit 11 generates overlay data based on an image data file ID, reading conditions, and image processing condition numbers, and displays the overlay data on a display unit 13 while superposing the overlay data on the output data. Also, the control unit 11 transmits the output data and the overlay data to a printer 5 through a network N, and prints them, and when the image processing is under a reservation state, a reservation mark is displayed on the top of the output data while superposing them, or printed.
