<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical note display control apparatus automatically deciding a pitch display range to avoid such a state that the pitch of a musical note deviates from the pitch display range and becomes invisible. <P>SOLUTION: The musical note display control apparatus inputs playing data from a playing data providing section. A musical note display position control section 2 displays the musical note included in the inputted playing data as the 'musical note 5' at a position corresponding to the pitch and the timing in a prescribed musical note display area 6 of a display device 3 based on the pitch, timing and a pitch display range 8 of the prescribed musical note display area 6.
