PURPOSE: A color CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) is provided to prevent the deterioration of color purity by forming the first and second material layer on the surface of a shadow mask and an inner shield for reducing the rear scattering due to electron beam. CONSTITUTION: A color CRT comprises a shadow mask, an inner shield, the first material layer formed on the surface of the shadow mask and the inner shield for reducing rear scattering electrons, and the second material layer formed on the upper portion of the first material layer for absorbing electron beam energy. At this time, the first material layer has a high secondary electron rate. Preferably, the second material layer is made of one selected from a group consisting of a carbon or graphite layer.
