PURPOSE: A tray driving apparatus used in a microwave oven is provided to uniformly heat foods placed on a tray by rotating the tray. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven includes a driving motor and a rotating member(12) rotated by the driving motor. The rotating member(12) is formed at an upper surface thereof with an eccentric protrusion(14). A tray(20) is installed in a heating chamber of the microwave oven. The tray(20) has a gear section at an outer peripheral portion thereof. The tray(20) is rotated along a rotating orbit as the eccentric protrusion(14) rotates. The tray(20) is formed at a lower center portion thereof with a coupling hole, into which the eccentric protrusion(14) is inserted. A gear(26) meshed with the gear section of the tray(20) is formed at a lower portion of the heating chamber. The tray(20) is rotated by the eccentric protrusion(14) and the gear(26).
