PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lead acid storage battery in which overflowing of an electrolytic solution in a battery case from a liquid port plug by vibrations can be prevented. SOLUTION: An electrode plate group 2 is housed in a battery case 1, and an electrolytic solution 4 is filled up to above the electrode plate group 2 in the battery case 1. The liquid port 6 is installed at a cap 5 to occlude the battery case 1, and the liquid port 6 is occluded by a liquid port plug 7. In the battery case 1, a liquid-level behavior suppression sheet 8 to suppress a liquid- level behavior of this electrolytic solution 4 by covering the liquid surface of the electrolytic solution 4 is floated and arranged.
