PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase fishing effect by using a device that can automatically swinging the fishing line vertically. SOLUTION: This device 10 for vertically swinging the fishing line is connected on one side with the fishing line through a chum cage 5 and a float 4 to the fishing rod 1. The other side of device is connected with the fishing line through a bend part 11 to the hook 8 to which a bait is fixed. The fishing line-swinging device 10 allows the bend part 11 to rotate whereby the fishing hook 8 bearing a bait 7 hung is allowed to move and stimulate the bait-eating activity for collecting fishes.
