A hanging wall plate safety support bracket comprises a hooked portion 3 which engages with the top of a wall and/or a wall plate, a hanging portion 4 to which is attached a support bracket 2. The support bracket may be fixed to the hanging portion with a weld. The design of the device allows it to be suspended in any position along a wall or wall plate. The device may be made of metal or plastic materials which can withstand the necessary load bearing. The bracket may be used to support a safety deck or scaffold to allow access for the construction of a truss roof, for example. |
