<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the surface wear of an electrifying roller and to prevent deposition of an unnecessary toner on the roller surface or contamination of a roller cleaning member by improving a two-component developer, further, to increase the toner transfer efficiency and to decrease the wear of a cleaning blade so as to realize uniform electrification on an image carrying body, to prevent voids in characters, scattering of characters or contamination on the base and to obtain a favorable fixed image in the method for forming an electrophotographic image which uses the two-component developer. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for forming an image including: a roller electrification process; an electrostatic latent image forming process; a two-component development process; a transfer process; a cleaning process of the electrostatic latent image carrying body; and a fixing process by heat and pressure, the developing toner particles contain at least a coloring agent, a binder resin, a charge controlling agent, fine particles of metal soap and/or fluorocarbon resin, and/or a substance containing silicone resin fine particles to impart fluidity and release property. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
