PURPOSE: To obtain an emulsion-type cutting oil which can retain stable performances in cutting over long by enhancing the stability of the emulsion. CONSTITUTION: This cutting oil is an O/W emulsion obtained by adding a surfactant and other additives to a base oil comprising a lubricant such as a mineral oil, a fat, or a synthetic oil and dispersing them into water. It contains cellulosic fibers yielded by the metabolism of a sugar feedstock in an acetic acid bacteria by the aerobic culture method. |
