Thiadiazole compounds represented by the general formula A have excellent control activities against injurious arthropods: A wherein R1 is methyl, C3-7 alkenyl, C2-7 alkoxyalkyl, a group represented by the general formula B: B [wherein R3 is C1-3 alkyl and R4 is hydrogen, methyl, or the like], or the like and R2 is C1-4 alkyl substituted with optionally substituted phenyl, C1-4 alkyl substituted with optionally substituted pyridyl, or C1-4 alkyl substituted with optionally substituted pyrimidyl.
