PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device which can perform stable DC braking without tripping (abnormal detection) by an overcurrent during DC braking. SOLUTION: In an inverter device which has a means for controlling the voltage to be given to an induction motor 4 and the frequency variably and makes DC braking work on the induction motor 4, based on the preset DC braking command set value VdB when a DC braking command is given, a state detecting means 17, which detects the load condition of this inverter device or the load condition of the induction motor 4, and a command value correcting means 18, which corrects the DC braking command set value VdB by the detection result by this state detecting means 17, are provided, and in case that the load condition reaches the alarm level, the DC braking command value VdB is reduced. |
