PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing an impact-resistant thermoplastic resin excellent in weatherability, and a composition made by using the resin. SOLUTION: The process for producing an impact-resistant thermoplastic resin excellent in weatherability is characterized in that 100 pts.wt. of a composite rubber copolymer (A) obtained by polymerizing a monomer (a) containing a 1-8C alkyl acrylate is polymerized with 20-150 pts.wt. of a monomer mixture (B) which contains 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a monomer (b) having a 2,2,6,6- tetramethylpiperidine group, with a structure represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each H or a methyl group), 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a monomer (c) having a structure represented by formula (2) (wherein R<SB>3</SB>is H or a methyl group), and an aromatic vinyl monomer (d).
