PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puddling device capable of preparing the paddy in a uniform depth and preparing almost all of the paddy surface. SOLUTION: This puddling device 40 is constituted by having a puddling board 41 extending in the vehicle width direction of a rice-transplanting machine 1, a supporting device 51 mounted at the side surface of the puddling board 41, and a position-setting member 51 for performing an up and down position setting of the puddling board. The puddling board 41 is unified in a state of lining three pieces of plate like members in up and down 2 rows, and puddling members having a thin thickness 4 nipped between the plate like members in the lower row. The supporting device 51 constitutes a link mechanism by having a first link member 52 mounted at the rear part of the rice-transplanting machine, extending in the lower direction and capable of changing the extending amount, a second link member 59 attached to the lower end part of the first link member 52 and capable of up and down shaking and linking its tip part with the puddling board 41, and a third link member 63 pivoted between the rear part of the rice-transplanting machine and the second link member 59, and capable of changing its amount of extension.
