<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of high-speed image selection by fast-forwarding enlarged thumbnail images fast and a digital camera with the high-speed image selecting function. <P>SOLUTION: A thumbnail compressed image data expanding means 61 expands thumbnail image data, and a thumbnail image enlarging and displaying means 62 enlarges and displays the expanded thumbnail image data on a liquid crystal display. Then, a thumbnail image selecting means 63 selects a desired image. Simultaneously, corresponding image data are obtained and expanded by a compressed image data expanding means 64, an image displaying means 65 displays the expanded image data on the liquid crystal display, and a selected image confirming means 66 confirms the image and then a next process is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
