PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated core which can easily improve the productivity by making differences of plate thicknesses cancel each other without using a complicated mechanism. SOLUTION: Two magnetic steel plates, both of respective ends in the width direction perpendicular to the rolling direction have different thicknesses, are piled upon each other so as to have their respective thick ends and thin ends adjacent to each other and are punched out simultaneously into two sheets, which are core elements 3 and 4, by a forward-feed stamping die. The core elements 3 and 4 are successively piled upon each other so as to have their rolling directions agree with each other to make the differences of the sheet thicknesses cancel each other. With such a constitution, a laminated core 7 with the high core precision can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
