PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry type display plate for a thin television receiver which is simple in structure, low in cost, easily made large-sized, small in power consumption, superior in visibility even when carried to an outdoor light place, etc., reducible in thickness like a wall-mounted type, and superior in responsiveness. SOLUTION: The display plate 100 for the thin television receiver is constituted by arraying and arranging a plurality of display elements 10 each constituted by charging two kinds of dry particles A and B differing in electrostatic charging polarity between two opposite transparent substrates 12 and 13, arranging electrodes 14 and 15, and 16 and 17 applying electric fields to the particles A and B and a color filter 20, and also arranging a back light 21 outside one transparent substrate 12 to be able to give necessary potentials to respective electrodes of the individual display elements 10.
