PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil forming device capable of dispensing with a removable process from a mandrel as a jig specialized in the coil forming device as the jig to only bend a rectangular wire to be coiled, and, in addition, capable of smoothly supplying a wire rod to the forming device and preventing damages at the time of supply, and lowering or restraining the peeling of the coating. SOLUTION: A shaft portion 42 to form a bending profile shape for coiling the rectangular wire 20, and a roller 52 which revolution-rotates, while rotating on its axis in the outer peripheral position of the shaft portion 42 are arranged, and, by arranging the rectangular wire 20 between the roller 52 and the shaft portion 42, coiling is performed by the revolution-rotation of the roller 52. A flange region 44 which holds the rectangular wire from the vertical direction in the sideward position of the shaft portion 42 is arranged so that the width is variable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
