DUAL STACK HOME LOCATION REGISTER AND CALL FORWARDING INTERWORKING METHOD BETWEEN NETWORKS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A dual stack HLR(Home Location Register) is provided to install dual protocol stacks in one HLR, and to reciprocally interwork each protocol by mapping the protocols according to receiving/originating signal points one to one, thereby efficiently interworking a call forwarding between an existing network and a new network. CONSTITUTION: Subscriber number managers(411,421) manage subscriber numbers for an existing network and a new network with subscriber identifiers and subscriber dialing numbers. Subscriber basic information managers(412,422) manage basic information of subscribers with originating/receiving conversion information for the existing and new networks. Subscriber additional service managers(413,423) manage subscriber additional services including call forwarding of the subscribers. Subscriber location managers(414,424) manage locations of the subscribers. A controller(440) maps each protocol according to receiving/originating signal points one to one, reciprocally interworks the protocols, and generates messages for the existing network or the new network.
