<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original planographic printing plate which allows to obtain a number of unblotted printed matter under severe printing conditions by achieving improvement in the avoidance of blot, enables production of plates by scanning exposure based on digital signals, and has an excellent developing property on machine. <P>SOLUTION: The original planographic printing plate is provided with a hydrophilic graft on its support, and a hydrophilic layer having a bridge structure which is formed by hydrolysis and condensation polymerization of an alkoxide compound comprising elements selected from Si, Ti, Zr and Al. Also, the plate comprises water dispersible particles which enable formation of a hydrophobic region on the surface through heating of or radiant ray irradiation on the hydrophilic layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
