<p>A medical instrument for cornea operation capable of forming corneal epithelium sheet (including a flap and a cap) comprising only corneal epithelium obtained by separating a total layer of the corneal epithelium from a corneal stroma in an orthokeratology operation or corneal epithelium grafting operation. The medical instrument used for cornea operation comprises a yarn-like member (5) of the sectional diameter (D) of 100 μm or under which is positioned at the boundary between the corneal epithelium (51) and the corneal stroma (55). The yarn-like member (5) is elastic so that a first contact surface (5a) is deformable along the surface shape of a contact surface on the corneal stroma (55) side in response to the pushing force (f1) in the direction of a bottom side of the corneal stroma (55), and strong so that a second contact surface (5b) can be driven forward along a boundary surface (61) while pushing up a lowest bottom surface which is the contact surface on the corneal epithelium (51) side in response to the pushing force (f2) in the direction along the boundary surface (61) between the corneal epithelium (51) and the corneal stroma (55).</p> |
