PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polluted soil treatment method capable of easily and efficiently discharging polluted soil present in a deep region under the ground to certainly treat the polluted soil on the ground without diffusing the same to the outside of the system. SOLUTION: The polluted soil treatment method includes a process for excavating soil to form a boring hole (10) and inserting a soil excavating rod (11) into the boring hole, a process for inserting a polluted soil discharge pipe (slurry discharge pipe 22), a process for ejecting jet streams (J1 and J1) of a ground excavating fluid (e.g: high pressure water) from a pair of the nozzles (10a and 10a) provided to the soil excavating rod (11), a process for allowing the jet streams (J1 and J1) to collide with each other at a predetermined position (collision point JPX) to constitute cross jet streams (cross jet) and ejecting (J2) a filler from the filler jet means (monitor 12) provided to the lower end of the soil excavating rod (11), and a process for ejecting the filler and discharging a mixture of polluted soil and the ground excavating fluid (slurry: e.g., a mixture of excavated and cut polluted soil, water and air) to the ground through the polluted soil discharge pipe (slurry discharge pipe: 22).
