<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting system for an air conditioner in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This setting system for the air conditioner allows for individual setting coupled with ergonomic functionality. The setting system comprises a control panel (10) having a touch-sensing display screen connected to a controller based on a microcomputer (12) having a control output at least to the fun unit (16) of the air conditioner, to air distributing valves (18, 20) and to temperature regulators (22, 24). The display screen displays in current setting and usable setting option, that is, (i) an air flow rate, (ii) an air distribution, and (iii) an air temperature in the form of analog symbol representations that respond to the contact for changing the current setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
