METHOD FOR SHAPING SELF-FIRING ANODE OF ALUMINIUM CELL

FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely production of aluminium by electrolysis, possibly shaping of monolithic body of anode. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rearranging electric current supply pins and charging anode mass in the form of pellets; when time interval in range 3 - 20 minutes remains until extraction of pin from anode body, pouring anode mass in the form of pellets with size 2 - 40 mm in quantity sufficient for filling underpin space; during time period equal to 5 minutes after extraction of pin filling underpin space with anode mass poured beforehand. EFFECT: lowered extraction of resinous compounds to environment.
