STREAM VIDEO RECEPTION CONTROL METHOD, STREAM VIDEO DELIVERY SYSTEM, AND STREAM VIDEO RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stream video distribution and reception control which allow succession of techniques and development. SOLUTION: A decod and display control part 5 requests data by indication of reproducing start, and a data request processing means 41 requests leading data transmission to a delivery device 2. Data from the delivery device 2 is stored in a leading data buffer means 43, and artificial trailing data generated from leading data by an artificial trailing data generation means 47 is stored in a trailing data buffer means 44, and following data is requested to the delivery device 2 with a data response. Following data is stored in a reception data queue 2 and the trailing data buffer means 44, and the data request from the decoding and display control part 5 is responded to with data while detecting upper and lower limits of the queue 42 by detection means 45 and 46 to requesting temporary stop/restart of data delivery. The data request based on jump operation is responded to with data by buffer means 43 and 44, and delivery is requested to the delivery device 2 when data is absent.
