The invention relates to insulating glazing comprising: at least two sheets of glass (10, 11) which are separated by means of a gas gap (12); an interlayer (2) which is used to space out the two glass sheets and which has an inner surface (20) disposed opposite the gas gap and an opposite outer surface (21); and means for sealing (3) with respect to the inside of the glazing. The invention is characterised in that the interlayer (2) comprises: an essentially flat section which surrounds a first part of the periphery of the glazing, the inner surface (20) of said interlayer being pressed against the edges (10a, 11a) of the glass sheets and maintained in place by securing means (4); and another section (30) which surrounds a second part of the periphery of the glazing.
