<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a walker from tripping on stairs by preventing a toe of the walker from being caught by a front end lower face of a nosing part of a tread. SOLUTION: This trip-preventing material for the stair is mounted over a front side face 2a of a riser 2 of the stair and a lower face 3b of the nosing part 3a of a tread 3 in an inclined state, and is composed of a flat main face plate 5, a first miter plate 7 inwardly foldably connected to an upper edge of the main face plate 5 and fastened to a front edge side of the lower face 3b of the nosing part 3a of the tread 3 by a first setscrew 13, a second miter plate 10 outwardly foldably connected to a lower end of the main face plate 5 and fastened to a vertical intermediate height position of the front side face 2a of the riser 2 by a second setscrew 18, and a cover plate 12 connected to a lower end of the second miter plate 10 foldably to an outer face side of the second miter plate 10 for covering a head part 18a of the second setscrew 18.</p> |
