PURPOSE: An automatic calorie detection system of a meal service is provided to automatically detect and display the calorie of the food dished up on a food plate, e.g. in a cafeteria. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a calorie checking system, A, a food supplying system, B, and an automatic calorie detection system, C, which are sequentially arranged, so the calorie of the food dished up on a food plate(2) can be calculated while the food is supplied. The food plate(2) has holes which allow load cells to be inserted for measuring the weight of the foods on dishes. The load cells are put on a measurement plate(4a) of an electronic scale(4) to simultaneously measure the weights of the foods on plural dishes. The position of the dish on the food plate represents a calorie index of a food put on the dish. |
