PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container shut-off valve unit and a container interior washing method capable of efficiently washing the interior of a cylinder and provide a compact flow channel shut-off valve. SOLUTION: A container shut-off valve unit 11 comprises a container coupling portion 54 connected to a container 1, a hanging fitting 14 provided at an opposite end to the coupling portion 54, a container connection port 12a connected to an opening of the coupled container 1, first and second hose coupling portions 23 releasably connected to hoses 92, respectively, first and second hose connection ports 16a for communication with the spaces of the hoses 92, an exhaust flow channel 17 interconnecting the container connection port 12a and the respective hose connection ports 16a, shut-off valves 26 for opening and closing the respective hose connection ports 16a, and operation members 41 for operating the respective shut-off valves 26.
