PURPOSE:To obtain an information recording medium wherein reversible recording and erasing of information by heating can be repeatedly and stably performed by providing a plurality of projected bodies on the upper face of a base material and filling respectively a heat-sensitive recording material in each space between the projected bodies as a basic principle. CONSTITUTION:An information recording medium 1 is constituted by providing a plurality of projected bodies 3 on the upper face of a base material 2 and filling respectively a heat-sensitive recording material 4 in each space between the projected bodies 3. The projected bodies 3 is formed of a base part 3a formed in a plain face shape on the upper face of the base material 2 and wall-like projected parts 3b standing up therefrom. In addition, the projected bodies 3 are formed into one of such shapes as belt-like, particle-like, projection-like and lattice-like shapes. Furthermore, the projected bodies 3 is formed by curing ionized radiation-curable resin. On the other hand, the heat-sensitive recording material 4 is an article wherein at least one aliph. carboxylic acid and an org. low mol.wt. compd. are dispersed in a matrix made of a resin. In addition, the heat-sensitive recording material may be an article wherein a liq. crystal substance is incorporated in a film-formable high molecular substance. |
