<p>The invention relates to an extrusion production system that can be used to produce regular-sized bricks and large-sized walls in one single piece. The inventive system employs an extrusion and cutting process comprising a single drying preparation step and using specially-designed moulds. Said system can be used to eliminate the most costly step of the process for producing bricks by means of extrusion, namely the handling of the bricks once they have been extruded in order to adapt the number of bricks obtained from the mould to the dimensions of the kiln used. In addition, the system can be used to reduce the speed at which the clay exits, thereby reducing the loss of head during the extrusion process and resulting in a significant energy saving. The large-sized walls and bricks produced possess an improved mechanical resistance-to-mass ratio, are more homogeneous and, as a result, are less likely to fracture.</p> |
