PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable receiving unit capable of effectively utilizing a space in a rack and capable of reasonably receiving the excessive length of the cable. SOLUTION: A plurality of cable holders 2a, formed of a metallic rod by bending the same, are mounted on the fore surface of the front plate 6 of a receiving box 1, having connecting units 8 capable of being mounted on the mount frames or the like in the rack, at the left-and-right ends of the fore surface and the upper part of the same is opened, while wire introducing holes 10, 11 are bored on the front plate 6 and a rear plate 7 so that the insertion and withdrawal of the cables into and out of the receiving box 1 through the front surface and the rear part of the receiving box 1 are permitted.
