PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxialy extruder for defoaming/extruding a PVA resin which is designed so that a sufficient deaeration takes place in a vent and a molten resin is extruded from a die without leaving air unremoved in the molten resin. SOLUTION: In a completely intermeshing biaxial extruder 21 with an atmospheric open vent part 27, designed for defoaming/extruding the PVA resin 24, the expression of L/D>=16 is established, when a distance between the vent 27 and the tip of a screw is given as L and the screw diameter as D. |
