A road charging system comprises a Location Based Services (LBS) device (101) cooperating with a first network (102) to determine geographical localization data of the LBS device (101), a Mobile Operator Emitter (MOE) device (103) cooperating with a second network (104) to transmit at least the geographical localization data of the LBS device (101), and data capturing means (105) to capture from the second network (104) the geographical localization data. The system further comprises locating means (105, 106) to establish a geographical locating of the LBS device (101) from at least the geographical localization data, and charging means (107) to charge depending on the locating of the LBS device (101).
