PURPOSE: A caloric control apparatus for a top burner is provided to allow a user to control the top burner through a wide variety of calories, while achieving improved accuracy of control. CONSTITUTION: A caloric control apparatus comprises a signal input unit for inputting a caloric control signal; large/medium/small valves(V2,V3,V4) for controlling calorie through a plurality of combustion states in accordance with the caloric control signal input from the signal input unit; a common valve(V1) for cutting off flow of gas during combustion or extinguishment; a common valve driving unit for outputting a control signal for driving the common valve; a large/medium/small valve driving unit for outputting a control signal for driving the large/medium/small valves; and a micro computer(10) for outputting a control signal for combining the common valve driving unit and the large/medium/small valve driving unit and controlling calorie through sub-divided combustion states.
