PURPOSE: A smoke purifier for automobile exhaust gas is provided to achieve improved efficiency of purification and reduce environmental contamination by mounting the purifier at the end of the muffler and allowing for ease of replacement of filter. CONSTITUTION: A smoke purifier device(10) having a plurality of holes accommodates therein a cylindrical pipe(17) having a plurality of holes. The smoke purifier device includes a hinge(15) arranged at an end of the smoke purifier device and a lock unit(18) arranged at the other end of the smoke purifier device so as to fix a filter. The filter includes multi-layer separator walls having a plurality of filtering holes and which are deposited with a chemical material serving as a catalyst. The filter further includes an exhaust gas dispersion surface deposited with a non-flammable material, and a handle groove.
