COATING APPARATUS AND COATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus that is capable of stably coating a coating liquid even when a substrate is caused to run at a high speed to perform the coating and to provide a coating method using the same. SOLUTION: The coating apparatus is provided with a coating means which applies a coating liquid on a belt-like substrate which is continuously running and a weighing means which is arranged in the downstream side of the coating means and weighs the thickness of the layer of the coated liquid on the substrate so that it becomes a predetermined thickness. The coating method using the same is also provided.
