PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for electric parts wherein a connecting terminal of the electric parts and the connecting terminal of the socket for the electric parts are pressurized with an uniform pressure and made to be electrically connected by eliminating deviations of the pressurizing force to pressurize the electric parts and wherein a force to slide the electric parts in the lateral direction can be suppressed as much as possible when the pressurizing force is applied to the electric parts. SOLUTION: Two supporting shafts 15 are installed at a cover member 9, these supporting shafts 15 are made to movably support a pressurizing member 16 to pressurize electric parts 2 in the vertical direction, a coil spring 18 is installed between this pressurizing member 16 and the cover member 9, and a pressurizing-force transferring member 17 to transfer a driving force of this coil spring 18 to the pressurizing member 16 is arranged between the coil spring 18 and the pressurizing member 16 movably in the vertical direction.
